What is HYROX?

Founded in 2017, Hyrox is a global fitness race that aims to test your endurance and functional capacity. The race combines functional strength training, high intensity interval training (HIIT) and endurance training, allowing it to test well-rounded fitness in a way that hasn’t previously been done

The format for all Hyrox events is the same and each competition consists of eight rounds, which all include a 1km run followed by a different functional exercise: Ski erg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rower, farmers carry, lunges and wall balls. There are different divisions which use different weights for these movements: Men’s pro, Men’s open, Women’s pro, Women’s open, Mixed doubles, Men’s doubles, Women’s doubles, and Relays.

Hyrox races are always the same across the world. They use the same running distance and the same exercises, in the same order.

All abilities welcome: Hyrox is an inclusive race with no time cap. So you can compete whether you are a beginner gym goer, or an elite athlete.
