What is HYROX Athlete?

FIVE Complete programming days per week designed to get you in your best possible condition to compete in a HYROX race.

The HYROX athlete program caters for the Hybrid athlete.

Hybrid athletes look to blend different “fitness” modalities into their training to be more than capable of performing any physical task that they maybe required to perform. What does that mean? it means they may not be the strongest, fastest, fittest or most powerful in a specialty event BUT when asked to perform any event they can be more than capable of adapting to any challenge with very little to no specific training.

The Hybrid athletes perfect event is Hyrox, but also Spartan races or Dekafit. However with their training they can easily transition to a 10k, half, full or ultra marathons but also jump into a strongman,  or powerlifting competition.
The HYROX athlete program is tailored towards Hyrox (but that doesn’t mean there is no cross over to other events). We aim to blend a variety of past and present strength and conditioning principles from not only our academic knowledge but also through our experience with training modalities. The HYROX athlete program takes the guess work out out of your training, enabling you to be strong, fit and fast in order to crush your next Hyrox event.
Hyrox is an intense, endurance event so incorporating appropriate training is important to minimise injury risks and maximise performance. Running is the key to successfully completing a HYROX event, so building that base and improving your running capacity forms a large part of what we do. In addition, specifically practicing each of the functional exercises/stations is very important, however you’ll also want to compliment this with strength and endurance training that will contributes to the main moves and keep your training interesting.
